Small SMT Type Coaxial Connector
Compatible to SMB (IEC60169-10) Standard Has Been Developed

	Demand for the ability to conduct telephone calls and data communication in any location continues to increase for wireless communication such as mobile phones, PHSs and wireless LANs. Carrier companies accelerating the expansion of ubiquitous networking, are adding and upgrading related base stations and access points together with furthering performance levels, functions, and compactness. Along with such market trends, miniaturization of devices and densification of mounting areas are progressing. Now even for the coaxial connectors that were conventionally through hole, the demands for more compact types compatible with automatic mounting and surface mounting are increasing. To meet such needs, JAE has developed the SMT type SMB Connector, compatible with the IEC60169-10 (TYPE SMB) the standard specification for miniature coaxial connectors.

	a: This miniature coaxial connector conforms to IEC60169-10 (Type SMB) standard. b: Compatible to reflow and automatic mounting with adsorption tape c: Low profile, connector height 6.5mm from board d: Outer conductor SMT portion dowel prevents connector misalignment under reflow (Available in “without dowel type” that doesn’t need board attachment through hole) e: High frequency transmission of DC to 3GHz is possible. Application of 3 GHz or more transmission is possible upon performing adjustment. f: Possess equivalent high frequency function as conventional through hole connection type connector g: A design concept based on high-accuracy simulation technology is employed to optimize impedance matching, low reflection and low loss. h: Cable connector is available in our CN50 series connector or SMB series connector.
