Lighter, More Compact and User-friendly SG6 Series Small Memory Card Connectors for SDTM Card Has Been Developed

The SDTM cards standardized by SDATM have a high market share among small memory cards, and are now showing a large growth in the mobile phone market following the digital camera market.
JAE has long been developing connectors for SDTM cards to answer the applications´ demands. This time, to meet emerging device trends we have developed the SG6 Series with superior operability, focusing on user-friendliness and minimizing the size and mounting space more than in existing connectors.

The SG6 Series product is a compact and light connector, with superior operability from both the mechanical P-P structure and the 2mm longer card ejection length designed for easier handling.

 

*SDTM: Trademark of SD Card Association

* Mechanical P-P structure: A structure that locks the inserted card by the first push and releases the card by the second push. Also called a double push structure.
