High Speed Differential Transmission (LVDS) Compatible Board to Cable Connector "FI-M Series" Has Been Developed
| |
JAE has developed the FI-M Series, a compact and low profile board to cable connector for LCD panel interface in notebook PCs.
:: Features
| |
1
Due to the adoption of wireless antennas and CCD camera cables on notebook PC´s LCD side, this connector been developed to transmit USB and other control signals together in addition to conventional LVDS. |
2
Hold-downs are incorporated on the board side receptacle to reinforce soldering on the board and enhance grounding. The hold-downs are integrated with the metal shell, so grounding to the board occurs when mated with the cable-side plug. |
3
A pull bar is adopted to make removing the cable easier in the limited mounting space, and also to serve as a lock to prevent unmating caused by vibration and shock. Locking with the receptacle is achieved by rotating the pull bar into its position. |
4
For the cable-side plug, soldering with fine coaxial wire and discrete wire is available. The applicable cables are AWG #32 to #40 fine coaxial wire, and AWG #32 discrete wire. |
5 |
Structured to prevent flux from rising to the contact during cable harnessing. |
6
3mm mating height |
7
Pb-free product, RoHS compliant |
