CE2 Series of Small Coaxial Connector with Improved Cable Pulling Strength

CE2 series connector

 

 

Coaxial connectors with frequency under 1GHz are used for automotive antennas, however in the market there is a demand for smaller, durable connectors with efficient shielding characteristics. JAE has developed the CE2 Series, which is the ideally suited coaxial connector to meet these demands. This Series has variation in the line-up including differing pin count types, bracket shape types, and power terminal types to meet the various automotive unit usages.

 

 

:: Features

 

•  Reinforced-type coaxial connector that endures pulling strength over 100N.
•  Noise resistance characteristic improved by outer terminal that covers entire cable core area.
•  Small coaxial connector with applicable frequency range up to 1GHz that can be used for automotive antenna, etc.
•  Available connector configurations are board connector, cable connector and relay connector.
•  Characteristic impedance is 75 ohm, and 1.5C-2V equivalent is used for cable.
•  Available in several combinations of positions and variations, including two types of bracket shapes (board connector) for screw fixing to panel.
•  Bracket and outer terminal are linked and can be connected to panel.
• Double lock* on side retainer improves contact-maintaining strength.
(* Structure that ensures complete insertion of contact)
•  Mechanical lock resistant to vibration and pulling, with sure response when locked.
•  Board connector can be secured to board with thermal adhesion.
