The mainstream mounting style for automotive control units has been the through-hole type. Now there are increasing needs for an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) type due to the minimized mounting space, reduced flow soldering, and scale-downs of the unit assembly process.

To meet these demands JAE has developed this straight type SMT connector as an addition to the proven compact automotive MX34 Series connectors.

Recently, mobile phones equipping GSM 11.11 Standard Plug-in SIM Card and removable small memory cards are increasing due to the diffusion of the 3G models and hybrid cell phones with audio player, one-segment TV and GPS functions.

To meet these demands, this combo connector compatible with GSM 11.11 Plug in SIM Card and SDA standardized micro SD^TM Card, now having a high share in the small memory market, has been developed.

The minimized mounting space makes it ideal for freer mounting and designing smaller devices. With a user-friendly structure by succeeding the already developed Push-Push structure

JAE has developed the new JN1W and JN2W Series connectors, which further expand the product line-up of our circular interface connectors for industrial devices.
The JN1W and JN2W Series connectors build on existing products by increasing the number of signal contacts from 10 to 15 positions, and contacts for power from 4 to 5 positions with an increase in the rated current from 5 to 13 Amps. This allows JAE circular interface connectors to cover an even wider range of industrial applications.
