ST7 Series Connector

Mounting Space Saving
microSDTM Small Memory Card and GSM 11.11 Plug in SIM Card Combo Connector ST7 Series Has Been Developed

Recently, the number of mobile phones with small memory cards is increasing due to the popularity of hybrid cell phones with audio players, one-segment TV and GPS functions. With the spread of 3rd - 3.9th generation phones, phones equipped with a GSM 11.11 Standard Plug-in SIM Card are now common.
For this reason, JAE has developed a new combo connector compatible with both the GSM 11.11 Plug in SIM Card and the microSDTM Card, which has a high share in the small memory market, in order to expand the variety of card connectors available.
The ST7 Series will significantly save mounting space for customers compared with the conventional method of mounting the SIM Card and small memory card connectors separately, and will contribute to expanding the design variation of small devices.

With Improved Mounting Workability

"MX34 Single Type" Has Been DevelopedElectro-mechanical advancements for automobiles are being implemented in the pursuit of increased safety, comfort and environment friendliness. The number of parts being used is growing along with the increasing use of electronic units to realize those improvements. For this reason, more lightweight and compact parts with easier assembly work are in demand. JAE has developed the "MX34 Single Type" Series, a compact and low pin count non-waterproof connector that is lighter, has improved board mounting workability, and is compatible with thinner fine wire compared to the existing product to meet the customer requirements for these applications.

WD2 Series Has Been Developed, Significantly Smaller than Previous Docking Connector

Compatible with PCI Express Docking stations are mainly for business use and enhance the portable convenience of notebook PCs. JAE has developed the WD2 Series connector for docking stations. The WD2 Series is compatible with high-speed transmission such as PCI Express card and Display Port, and is significantly smaller compared to the currently widely used WD1 Series.

"FI-JK" Series Connector

Along with the global trends for mobile phones of incorporating information terminal and audiovisual functions, further slimming and minimization of the phone size is accelerating. And because of the incorporation of numerous features within a small device, the demand for anti-noise performance to prevent noise interference among the functions is increasing.
To meet these needs the FI-JK Series connector has been developed. The FI-JK Series connector can pass through a 3.0 mm dia. Hinge, after harness assembly (connection to cable), the key feature for slimming and minimization, and has with an improved anti-noise performance.

"ST9" Series Connector

Recently, mobile phones are becoming increasingly multifunctional with the inclusion of functions like audio players, one-segment TV, and GPS. In such devices small memory cards are widely used. It is now estimated that 40 percent of all mobile phones being manufactured include small memory cards, and it is assumed that this trend will accelerate along with the movement of slimming mobile phone sizes. To answer this market demand, JAE has developed the smaller and lighter ST9 Series connector for the microSDTM card. The microSDTM card is standardized by SDA and growing in market share among small memory cards.

"FI-JV" Series Connector

The global trends for mobile phones of incorporating new functions and slimming the phone size are accelerating. To slim the devices, the connectors need to be low profile. There is also growing demand for connectors to have anti-noise performance in order to accommodate the variety of functions such as digital TV reception, full browser internet access, and high-resolution cameras. To meet these demands the FI-JV Series connector, with a mating height of only 0.9mm and designed for anti-noise performance, has been developed.

JAE has developed the new JN1W and JN2W Series connectors, which further expand the product line-up of our circular interface connectors for industrial devices.
The JN1W and JN2W Series connectors build on existing products by increasing the number of signal contacts from 10 to 15 positions, and contacts for power from 4 to 5 positions with an increase in the rated current from 5 to 13 Amps. The FI-JH Series connector has been developed to meet these needs. The FI-JH Series is a horizontal connector for fine-coax wire (applicable to AWG 42-46) which achieves a mating height of only 1mm. It is equipped with a friction lock on both sides which act as a ground, in addition to preventing un-mating during use. The FI-JH Series is available in 30 position and 40 position versions..
