Development of DD1 Series Interface Connectors
conforming to USB 2.0

Recently there has been a remarkable enhancement in functions and particular progress in the boosting of the memory capacity for compact portable devices typified by PDAs and HDD players.As well, a function with a high-speed serial transmission system has been added for transmission/reception of large-volume data such as music files when connected to a PC.To meet these needs, JAE has developed the 0.5mm pitch "DD1 Series" interface connectors conforming to USB2.0, the standard for high-speed serial transmission.

• Enhanced twisting resistance at insertion and removal through equipped guide rail
• Secure ground connection for EMI prevention
• Conforms to transmission specified in USB2.0 Standard

• Minimized mounting area of the case realizes compact design: 24.2 width, 6.65 depth and 3mm height
• Hot-plug structure
• Available on embossed tape for automatic mounting

[Cradle plug]

• Minimized mounting area of the board realizes depth of 13.8mm (terminal not included)
• 1.0mm guide alignment structure: guide range of 1.0mm or more
  (receptacle ↔ cradle)
• Available on embossed tape for automatic mounting

[Cable plug]

• Side-lock system
• O5.0 cable for USB normally used.Cables with other diameters can also be used.
